In early December of 2019, the Tennessee HIMSS Chapter partnered with theNashville Health Care Council and the Greater Nashville Technology Council on a focus group-style event to understand more and provide feedback on the Together.Health Security Assessment (THSA) framework.
This was a unique opportunity for these three local organizations to collaborate and convene some of the leading healthcare provider, technology, security and innovation professionals and organizations, in an effort to share perspectives and considerations for this new, standardized security framework. Organizations represented at this event included the likes of HCA Healthcare, Envision Healthcare, AMSURG, Vanderbilt Health, LifePoint Health, Brookdale Senior Living, Contessa Health, etc., which obviously surfaced an interactive and thoughtful discussion. This event highlights yet another way in which our Nashville healthcare ecosystem is collaborating to bring greater value to our city, region, and nation – with the ultimate aim of improving healthcare for all.
