Telehealth and Chronic Care Management

Telehealth expansion has been limited primarily by reimbursement but also licensing and regulation. Earlier this year, we saw a congressional budget passed including telemedicine legislation, which will boost access to care while reducing costs. The Creating High-Quality Results and Outcomes Necessary to Improve Chronic Care Act of 2017 is intended to break down barriers to allow for more and better in-home treatment of patients. Instead of a one-size fits all approach, this would allow clinicians to create a tailored health program to address the chronic health needs of their patient as well as the surrounding health conditions.

Please join our panel as we share the technology and trends emerging in chronic care management as well as key challenges that remain for the next several years.
